I have to admit, knitting is a mental challenge. I'm some what of a beginner although my Mom taught me how to knit over 30 years ago. I found it boring at the time and substituted it for crocheting. Now I've come back within the last couple of years and can make really nice dishcloths and scarves. My goal is to expand my horizons and make sweaters and skirts. I like to work on challenging patterns because it keeps me from getting bored.
